SCRAWL

As a five year old I received a gift of a Kodak Instamatic camera and used it until I was provided with a second hand Yashica 35mm camera ten years later. By then photography and collecting imagery had become a consuming passion! It was a hobby for a long time but recently I showed some of my photographs in an exhibition context and opened my house for Brighton's Festival of Artists Open Houses in 2008. Cath Farr: The Art of Fun was awarded the prize for Best Open House. Importantly I saw my photographs with a new comprehension.

During Brighton Festival 2009 I showed new photographs at Latest Music Bar in an exhibition entitled Status Quo Cancelled and exhibited new photographs at Crunchtime 2010: Art and Global Issues (associate project) in York throughout January and February 2010. I have recently photographed Mark Little for his upcoming production of the classic Australian play, A Stretch of the Imagination.
